Service was solid. Place has a fun vibe. The food is not very good. The fries were undercooked so they tasted like eating potatoes. Could not finish the fries. The Frank's Red hot wings were awful. They tasted sweet somehow and like the wrong flavor? But smelled like Frank's. I thought they ... gave me the wrong flavour but the waiter assured me it was the Frank's wing. I used to come here all the time and loved it. Just moved back to the area but was really dissapointed :( hopefully it was a one off but our whole table of 8 was not thrilled on the food. Let’s be honest: Elwood’s is a dive. But it’s a good one, with super-affordable prices and quirky, friendly staff. The food was decent, and the happy hour deals were nuts for beer.
