This place embodies the textbook definition of AVERAGE. Our server was friendly and did her job just fine. It was the rest of the experience, that next time would probably make us drive right by this place instead of park, and come in. Our Diet Cokes were completely flat. So it was ... just coloured sugar water and had to return it, but when we got water....the glasses were soaking wet and made a wet mess on the table. Maybe make sure the glasses are clean and dry before serving them? Also, the water pitcher was covered in noticeable water marks making it just look dirty.....maybe wipe them dry? Then Smokehouse burger and Traditional burger were honestly average. The bun had slightly gone soggy and the patty was really dry. They were on the brink of going cold and honestly they tasted old. Why is it that I get better fries at Five Guys or any other fast food place and worse fries at a supposed Gastropub where burgers and fries are supposed to be their forte? There was just simply a clear neglect of effort on pretty much all fronts. We had someplace to be after and our server was sweet and tried her best, so we just paid the bill and left, but they lost us. Read more
