As of January 16, 2020, the Bakeshop is not here anymore. The current bakery is under new ownership. ********* Tried their bread several more times since my last visit and liked the bread more. Delicious cinnamon roll is crispy and more like croissant roll. It’s great that they serve good JJ ... Bean coffee to enjoy with the bread. Better call ahead to avoid disappointment as they don’t stick to their advertised business hours. ********* Visited here several times to try the focaccia, charcoal sourdough loaf, almond croissant, etc. Loved the focaccia when I tried it for the first time, but lately I found their breads too brown (almost a bit burned) and a tad dry for my taste. Purchased a croissant and foccacia loaf from here as we were in the neighbourhood. Both were delicious. The croissant was buttery and flaky with a little bit of crispness outside. There was also a surprising hint of sweetness. The foccacia loaf was great as well and enjoyed at home with ... an herbes de provence huile d'olive and balsamic dip. Would definitely purchase again. This small welcoming shop has the best bread in Vancouver. If you are looking for lunch, go here, ask for one of their made to order sandwiches. They will ask you if there's anything you *don't* want. Say no. It will be one of the best decisions you make that ... week, maybe even month. Their sourdough will sell out so don't go to late in the day. This place changed my idea of what good bread is. Read more

These folks are awesome. Exceptional service and the bread is ri-donculous! Usually just get a loaf of sourdough and plain focaccia. This time got a chunk of the topped focaccia - so good!

Great bakery! I had the huge focaccia and that was one most delicious breads I ever had! Very good people working on this little and special place.
