Lemonade Gluten Free Bakery - Vancouver, British Columbia

Great treats and resnable prices. Need one in Burnaby. The croissant tasted like a eating dough with butter. The cinnamon was a little crispy. The cookies were nice. The staff super friendly.

Decided to come down on the weekend to experience a few different gluten free bakeries in Vancouver. I had never been to Lemonade before and was looking forward to trying some of their baked goods. When I entered I was the only customer there at that time and while there ... were 2-3 people behind the counter, I wasn't greeted by anyone including the person standing behind the cash register. After a few minutes of looking they asked if I wanted anything so I mentioned it was my first time and while I planned to buy some items I was still browsing, from there I received no response. Their retail cooler display was impressive in that the pastries looked well decorated and full. Their baked goods however looked fairly lacklustre and the pastries themselves did not appeal (appearance or flavours). I ended up getting some bread and did try an almond croissant as I've read their croissants are delicious, however I felt otherwise and ended up discarding more than half of it. The bread was good in flavour, texture was a bit dense but I personally didn't mind that. Coming from someone who's worked in the hospitality industry for decades, had I not just travelled an hour to try Lemonade I would have personally walked out of the bakery after being ignored when I entered. The first impression is everything regardless of being a new or returning customer and to not even receive a hello made my visit very awkward. Visted Sept 23 - Great place for gluten free cakes and bakes. The lemon meringue pie is delicious and is paired nicely with their drip coffee. A most for gluten free eaters.

Good mix of products. More sweet desserts like cheesecake and mousses. My friend loves the lemon loaf Cupcake was just ok. Service was ok. Prices average to high for gluten free. Sold out of bread and savory two hours before close. Not the most welcome staff or friendly ... at times. Read more

I am so grateful for this place! They make beautiful gluten free desserts and baked goods that have been the centrepiece for so many special occasions in my life. Lemonade has discontinued the wonderful vegan chocolate raspberry tart. Please bring it back! I don’t think there are currently any vegan cake ... or tart options available. Read more
