This was my first time enjoying Ukrainian food, and I’m hooked! We got the Mama’s combo to try a variety. The sauerkraut was easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pork borsch was well worth the upgrade. It even came with a little instruction card explaining how to eat ... it the Ukrainian way. This little bakery is awesome! So many great options and the staff are very welcoming to help you decide. We enjoyed our dine in experience with pierogis and borsch. Highly recommend the dark chocolate babka!

My book club dined here tonight; a first for all of us. We enjoyed the Ukrainian food and coziness of the whole place. We made a reservation, but it wasn’t needed on a Monday night. We were told there are 3 parking spots at the back, but there was a ... big truck taking up the spots. Close-by street parking was a bit tough. Overall, we had a great time tasting the variety of items in the Mama’s Combo and staying to chat without pressure to leave until we were good and done. I will return to get a loaf of the wonderful looking sourdough breads on display and maybe a croissant. Read more

Fantastic First Experience with Ukrainian Cuisine! My partner and I recently visited Kozak Ukrainian Eatery & Mill on Victoria Drive, and it was an unforgettable experience. It was our first time trying Ukrainian food, and we were absolutely blown away by the flavors and hospitality. We followed the staff's recommendation ... and started with the pork version of their Borsch soup, which was incredibly rich and flavorful. We also tried a sausage dish with a cabbage base (apologies for not recalling the name), which was bursting with savory goodness. And let's not forget the pistachio dessert roll – it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Beyond the amazing food, the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. The vibe of the place was also fantastic – cozy and welcoming. Overall, Kozak Ukrainian Eatery & Mill exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.
