You might miss this place if you think it is on street level, because it is actually one floor below using a staircase. Very fun Aussie atmosphere (flags abound) and TVs turned to football/soccer added to that. Aussie Pie (ground beef, onion, and gravy) was top notch in flavor and ... content. Chicken parmy sandwich wasn't my best ever but still very good. Friendly staff added to the good vibes you get from Moose's! Cheers!! Read more
Needs to be down under , the food was just edible, the beer was ok, very expensive microwave food. I had the Aussie meat pie My daughter had Sanger 8oz steak and she did like it and she says I am mean. Wife and other daughter had burgers. The serving staff was awesome ... nice, just my opinion of the grub. Peace Read more
It's in the basement ,,very pub feel crazy huge space youd have no idea from the road and some good beer and appy specials ,, they should get a better sign out front very hard to spot but would definitely bring a group on down here for a party
A fun little Austrialian-themed watering hole and after work wind-down joint, complete with beer, wine, cocktails and a menu listing all sorts of comfort food options. The place is downstairs which adds a cozy sort of vibe. I was here to meet up with Yelp friends including the lovely Jasmine A. ... So we had a great time! Beers were consumed including "Big Rock Brewery" (Calgary) and "Steam Whistle" (Ontario). Great friendly service, decent prices and the pizza I demolished was delicious. Read more
I went shortly after opening on a Tuesday and it was quiet. Service was quick though. I ordered the 6 Chicken Strips (although they would probably be more accurately described as Chicken Fingers), which came with their House Mixed Greens and French Fries. I also ordered Garlic Aioli Dip on the ... side, which I highly recommend for the fries. Speaking of which, the French fries were fried to perfection, I'm not usually a fan of thick cut fries but they did it well. It's still crisp yet soft on the inside. The House Dressing for the Mixed Green was a bit too heavy for me (this coming from a person who ordered all this fried food for lunch).. The chicken strips were a tad bit underwhelming, it seems that this specific area of downtown like to over fry and over batter their chicken and prawn. The Honey Mustard dip was quite standard, perhaps richer than what you would find premade. I think the salad could use fresher ingredients but it is a pub after all. I would definitely recommend coming to this lovely hidden gem for their happy hours from 4-7PM. Read more
