Laska soup base very delicious and flavourful. The spring roll was ok and the drunken beef very flavorful too. The name does own up to it's food. Great service and good price
The delicious and fresh food was complemented by the friendliness of the staff during my first visit, which won't be my last. We had the pork spring rolls very tasty and the satay pork skewers were delicious. Our main dishes were Samosa Thoke, Drunken Beef and Pad Thai all were ... so delicious. I would highly recommend giving them a try you won’t be disappointed. Read more
Visited in early March. The interior is interestingly similar to a western-style diner. Of course, we had to try their laksa with mixed noodles. It had a good amount of spice to it. We also tried their pineapple fried rice, roti, fish cakes, and pork and chicken satays. The fish cakes were ... very tender inside. And while the roti looked a bit flat, it was light and fluffy inside with a nice crispy exterior. Everything turned out quite nice. Read more
We ordered roti canai, pad thai with shrimp, and laksa. Laksa was good, but don’t expect the creamy laksa. This malaysian laksa is curry/spice forward so it’s more flavourful than other places! We quite enjoyed it! The pad thai is good, it came with chilli flakes which made the pad thai ... spicy and sour, it was appetizing! The roti tasted like it was deep fried so it was crunchier than other places (but still got softness in it), the flavour was good. Overall it was a good fast casual place. The diner style aesthetic made it feel laid back and easy going! Read more
I ordered 7 dishes for Father’s Day and I am very disappointed with the portions. I specifically asked for large portion or dinner size and I feel really upset that I got so little food especially for spicy squid, papaya salad and rendang beef was ridiculous portion . The container ... was 1/4 filled. The papaya salad had a shrimp on top with the shell still on. I now have to order more food from a different restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant. In response to your comments: The rendang beef portion was just not acceptable and it was a lot less than then the drunken beef portion . For the cost of 17$ this is really not ok. The papaya salad had a shrimp with the shell on it still and the basil egg plant dish was swimming in oil. For this cost, it’s doesn’t not match in quality or fair portions. Read more
