Located at the very end of the food court of H Mart is this stall that sells Japanese curry. Prices start from $14 and up. The curry is good albeit a little bit watery. The katsu was well done, deep fried and flavourful. Once you order, they call for your ... order and you’ll have to pick up. The dining area is not very nice with seats and chairs pushed next to each other, making it more like a crowded food court. Kind of a hole in the wall restaurant serving ok Japanese curry. Probably the best Chicken Katsu Curry I’ve ever had. The meat was tender, the breading was crisp, and the sauce was flavorful. If I had to nitpick, I’d say I like my Japanese curry to have more carrots and potatoes in it. And the hole-in-the-wall type vibe just made the ... whole experience even better for me. Read more

Sorry about the photos. We got excited and started eating without taking photos first. Anyway, everything was good. They don’t have an all white meat option, but aside from that everything was good. The chicken and pork was fried nicely and the tonkatsu was very flavorful. Not as good ... as the Curry House, but they don’t exist anymore and no one made Japanese curry like they did.
