A darling, authentic and homey true hole-in-the-wall. The Bun Rieu is out of this world and a must-order. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. Both ladies helming the front and kitchen were so nice. This is definitely a hidden gem, hole in the wall type place run by a dual mother and daughter team. The mother is the chef and daughter handles front of house along with other tasks. I have tried many mid-high Vietnemese places in Vancouver and this place can stand up there as ... equals in terms of taste. Everything is made fresh from scratch and you can taste it from the very rice noodles they use - which is fresh and not the dried kind. Fresh rice noodle (Pricier) has a chewier texture with fragrant rice aroma whereas dried rice noodle that is boiled usually falls apart (Brittle) much easier, especially the cheap kinds that many other places use. Their pho broth is also very clean tasting, fresh slices of quality beef (Lots of it!) and in my opinion, the custom in-house home made style condiments such as their chili oil, is very unique and rare. Tangy, sour and spicy. Their rice dishes are also simple but don't let simplicity fool you. The taste is what makes this place shine. Come here for the taste, great service, cleanliness and value. Give their Vietnemese Coffee a try, the daughter makes an amazing coffee that rivals any high end restaurant =]. Read more

An authentic Vietnamese Northern dishes especially steamed rice rolls and crab meat with rice vermicelli. Even the size of the restaurant is quite small, the staff here is very friendly. They also sell the best Vietnamese ham in town. The price is very reasonable in comparison with the food quality and ... size.
