Back in the day this used to be best Chinese fast food. Today after trying their rice with colmars and shrimps, I almost wanted to puke. Not literally, but I was left with a nasty aftertaste, and unhappy stomach. The food just did not have any taste.

Price right with your selections/options. Delicious foods. Fried items are juicy too.

The Tasty Wok is inside Champlain Mall across from the Independent grocery store. It’s a good place for Chinese take out that is inexpensive as they have a variety of Chinese “fast food“ items like sweet and sour pork, chow mein, ginger beef, etc. The food is pretty good. ... Got a fried rice today. It was pretty much rice + salt and a hint of egg. This place was good years ago, but has gone downhill. Guess we will go Ken’s kitchen instead from now on

The pros are that the portions they give are huge and a box combo with three items can easily feed 2 people more than comfortably. Great value for food quantity and it’s not too expensive for what you get. The con is that it’s not amazing food or anything, it’s ... basic, average, mall food court style Chinese food. It’s okay, but not great. The ho fan was kinda bland. The veggies were average sautéed vegetables. The fried fish and sweet and sour pork were average. Read more
