The Snow Village Sushi is really good! Highky reccomend. Vancouver Sushi is a genre on its own, very different from where it originated from. Definitely worth a try. Would say its in some way, a "Vancouver" locality special dish. 😊
I am so angry that I almost don’t want to spend any more time on this place but I feel obligated to share my bad experience. I ordered take out. They said 30mins, it took 1 hour. I watched the last half hour when I was waiting inside the restaurant ... and they were waiting on only a kids combo which is basically cucumber roll, tamago and cali. All cold stuff. Took an extra 30mins. Once we got in home, the food was barely passable. Rice was mushy, all the hot stuff was cold because of the extra 30mins wait on cold stuff. Teriyaki sauce was congealed and cucumbers were either non existent or mushy. Also wasabi looks like it was weeks old. So much wrong, just look at my pictures. Read more
Been here several times and each time has been a positive experience. We ordered take out for a birthday party this time
Delivery: Overall recommend! Cost was higher than typical for sashimi, but the portions were also among the most-generous, such that value for money is very good overall. Rolls were tasty and balanced. Gyoza also good. Fast service. For sashimi, this will be my go-to if I am hungry :)
Food was good! Flavourful, huge serving, great presentation too. Tastes fresh. The servers were very proactive in checking in on us if we need anything like water or more tea. We ordered the volcano salmon sashimi and rolls, prawn tempuras, and deep-fried oysters. There were three of us and we ... were stuffed! Read more
