Came here with visitors from out of town, 6 adults and 3 year old twin boys. We requested to sit in the Sushi Boat as a novelty for the boys. They love it and also keep them contained when they are restless. The staff was fantastic, one of the ladies gave the ... boys a small keychain as souvenir. Our server Angela was super efficient, friendly and all the other staff were quick to take away used plates and come by to freshen up teas and water. Food was great, served fast and we were quite happy with the quality and the quantity. Our visitors enjoyed the Korean BBQ, the cooked food, and the sushi and sashimi. Read more
First time here, I don't know why it's taken so long. Incredibly good value on the all-you-can-eat menu. Sapporo tall cans only $7. The meat is seasoned extremely well and cooks great on the grill. Attentive and friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.
✅ 11 Pro Tips if you’re visiting for the first time: - Order just one piece of sushi from your top 3 favourites. - order beef and start grilling (don’t order more than one kind of grill for two people) - half a lemon to have with your oyster 🦪 costs a dollar - ... try the salmon sashimi if you’re a fan and order 3 rounds of 3 pieces per person and 2 rounds of edemame - order the fried aburis - you have a total of 90 minutes to stay but will likely feel full in 40 minutes - try the raw spicy small kalamari - teriyaki chicken twice at least - coffee dessert, It’s a small bowl but yummy. I had it 3 times - we loved their apple candy that comes with the bill - make sure you don’t order more than you can eat because they will charge 2 dollars per left sushi. Also you can’t pack cooked meat or anything unless you pay extra. We didn’t pay extra and spent 100 bucks for two people for dinner. Lunch is cheaper here. Read more
Considering that it's an "All You Can Eat deal", Shabusen is a great treat for Japanese food and Korean BBQ lovers. They have great choices of sushi rolls and meat for BBQ. It's only the sashimi that has a limit of 8 large pieces per person. Each table has its ... Korean BBQ grill for your meat of choice. I loved and enjoyed the fun of grilling. Overall, food quality is worth the price of a big serving. An extra fee is charged for leftovers and dining time is for 1.5 hours only. Make sure you're aware of your time. Staff are polite, attentive and service is fast. The place is moderately small so I suggest making a reservation or being early most especially during weekends. Will be back. Read more
I love this place. The food was just fantastic and I really like that it’s a Japanese plus Korean food mixed. One of my favourite places in Vancouver for sure.
