3/18/2024 This is the definition of a great hole in the wall. It didn't look like much and when we got there, there weren't many people so I was a bit concerned. But, by the time we got our food there was a line out the door. The teriyaki chicken was ... really good and my wife and daughter liked their sushi rolls. The server was really nice. We were extremely satisfied with the experience. Read more
Happened to pass by and saw their Happy Hour, it’s nothing fancy and thought it might be dodgy but I saw many people eating. Then this guy picking up a delivery said ‘it’s good here’ so that got me in there. What can I say? The price is absolutely out ... of Vancouver, it’s unbelievably cheap! $4.50 for a roll! That is happy hour but Is saw the regular price is just $1-2 more! I ordered Takoyaki and BC roll. I thought maybe it is small size coz of the price. They gave free hot green tea too. When my order came it was fast, and huge rolls! And its delicious! Takoyaki was hot and yummy and can taste the cuttlefish. Really tasty. My total bill was just over $10 which is unbelievable and good portion. The rolls is just how I like it. The rice is not mushy like other restos. I gave a $2 and will definitely be my go to when I crave for Japanese food! Highly recommended! The staff are very pleasant and a lot of them there, fast and courteous. Read more
This sushi place is one of the oldest sushi places in Vancouver. Its old roasted and very down to earth and a bit messy with the largest size sushi I believe in Vancouver! You heard me right, sushi pieces are very over sized and fresh. No special sauce but fresh ... and large sushi with alot of crab sauce. Try the house roll and I bet you can’t finish it in one bit! I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered the Salmon Cream Cheese and Chicken Teriyaki. The salmon looked off and tasted unpleasant. Later that night, I experienced food poisoning, which I suspect was caused by the salmon. This was quite alarming and made ... for an overall negative experience. I hope the restaurant takes measures to ensure food safety and quality in the future. Read more
