Sake Maki Japanese Restaurant - Vancouver, British Columbia

I had dismissed this restaurant as just another japanese restaurant in Kits passing by it a number of times. How wrong I was! The food here is amazing, I have been back close to a half dozen times and crawled over the menu to only find one item I wasn't wild ... about. I've taken family and friends who have also been likewise impressed. The key I think is their use of good quality ingredients and excellent blending of flavour. Their Tuna is mouth watering & their rolls lack the 'cheap' seaweed after taste of a vast number of other Vancouver establishments. The service is equally good with food coming out quickly & drinks being promptly refilled. The spaciousness of this restaurant can be daunting when viewed from the street especially when there are few patrons; unlike most sushi restaurants they haven't blacked out the window which does them a disservice for a new restaurant.
