Pho Goodness - Vancouver, British Columbia

We stay on Davie whenever we're on the mainland so we find food here and Pho Goodness is our go to place for Vietnamese meals. We've been going, eating here for years with no issues. It tastes good every time. We usually order pho soup in the winter and rice ... and vermicelli dishes in the summer. All delicious. Atmosphere may not be the best but who really comes here for fancy dandy. At least they leveled up their plating, they're very appealing and photogenic lately. The bahn mi chau (veggie bahn mi #55) is always my go to and it's one of my favorite things to eat in all of Vancouver. I also got the thai ice tea which was super good. Highly recommend pho goodness.

This place recieved such hype on social media I was really excited to give it a try! However, I was mildly disappointed. The service was really fast and the food was good, but I think the hype made it sound mind blowing. I think this is some decent pho but ... it’s more expensive than some other pho places in the area and it’s practically equal quality so it was a bit of a let down to my personal expectation. Great pho , fresh sprouts and basil ,lime but no hot pepper or jālapino? Maybe they're hard to get now? Had the shrimp salad roll with peanut sauce that was amazing! Had it all with a lime soda that was sooooo good ! Il be back.

Cute place. The food is decent. The pho broth is on the salty side so I didn't end up drinking much of it. Decent amount of beef though I suggest going with #20 the house special as it comes with a heafty amount of proteins for only an extra 50 ... cents. FYI if you go with children there is no kids menu or smaller sizes. They do have high chairs but no booster seats. Read more
