Check out TOP-10 Best Asian restaurants in Vancouver, British ColumbiaReviews for Peninsula Seafood Restaurant in Vancouver, British Columbia
Great dim sum but prices a bit on the high end. Very nice looking decor and washrooms. I did not like how fast the waiters cleared the table of plates, they were taking dishes away before we were even finished!
Probably one of the most expensive dim sum restaurants I've been to in Vancouver. That being said, the quality of the food was really good! The taste was authentic and reminds me of some of the best I've had growing up in Hong Kong. The waggu beef buns ... were pricey but the buns were cooked upon ordering and wonderfully done. The wrapping around the gaos were nice and thin. The shrimps inside were big in size. The rice rolls were a nice texture and not heavy and full of dense flour like some other places. Worth a try with a group of friends for sure! Reservations highly recommended. Read more
Limited menu The menu is not extensive as other restaurants. Love the Abalone and the assorted seafood, it was done to the perfect, soft and tasty. The braised fish belly was delicious. The mustard green cooked in broth is far too soft. The deep fried Pigeot is excellent. The dessert ... is a bit over cooked, kind of on hard side. I like to come for dim sum at lunch, lots of choices, it's so fun to read through the list of dim sum and find out what you like. As for price point, it's very pricy. Read more
Very good service and the staffs are very nice even to our kids. They served warm water with straws to my kids without even asking. We also love that they gave our kids a full set of utensils. The dishes are pretty good and the seafood is fresh. However, they do ... use quite some sauce and spice to improve the taste. I was looking for a more authentic taste but they are still pretty good. Some special dishes require one day reservation. Read more
Was really hungry when we got to the mall and saw this restaurant. It was packed with people so decided to try it out. Once we took the seat and saw the menu, we knew we have to be careful with what we choose. It’s all a bit pricey. Fried ... rice for almost 30$ is a bit much. The dim sum were ok in taste but we did not enjoy the beef noodle wrap. The taste was very bland and there’s hardly any beef, more like beef paste. Taste is subjective but I guess we like the other Dimsum places better than this one. Based on price, would probably not come back here again. Read more
