Food is mediocre. Awful service. The waitress did not bring us plates and forgot about an ordered dish until we reminded her. Not only this, their food is also warmed by the microwave instead of freshly made. The waitress was also obviously much nicer to Caucasian customers than Mandarin-speaking ones. ... Went here based on many reviews and seeing that they made a couple of “must eat”lists. The pineapple bao was great and the dai bao was very good. The cooked food, chow haw fun, and a vermicelli was mediocre. No flavour, oily, and small portions. The biggest lie in the ... reviews are the “must eat” Apple tarts. They were dry and not flakey and there was not much filling. The service was non existent. We didn’t expect great service based on the reviews but it was even worse than described. We couldn’t get anyone’s attention to order, pay or get more tea. They also managed to forget our hk teas that accompanied our meals. Such a huge mixed bag. Dim sum is good. Buns (at the front of the restaurant) is good. HK-style breakfast is scrappy (it's typically scrappy, but this was extra scrappy even for my standards). Price is a big no-no. The food is fine, but I can't justify paying $20 ... for a scrappy meal (not including the dim sum). I would at most come here for a BBQ pork bun and just avoid sitting down. This is a cash only restaurant. Five stars for food and service. We came to dine in around 9:30am Saturday and got a table immediately. As soon as we ordered we got the food in less than 5 minutes waiting time. We ordered a lot so food continuously came out ... as we ate. The food was excellent quality. The milk tea is true Hong Kong flavor style. We will definitely come back if we are in town again. Street parking was easy for us at the time we went; we found a spot right away in front of the restaurant. It is street parking only here and you can pay with the app PayByPhone. Read more

Authentic Chinese food. Everything taste great and fresh. Price is affordable and the portions hearty. The soups were huge. And the staff so polite and friendly. Opposite of the service I’ve gotten in different Chinatowns in different cities. Cash only or debit cards thou. Well worth it!
