The first, a broccoli dish, was a vibrant green affair, each floret a miniature tree in a ... forest of flavor, sautéed to perfection with just the right amount of garlic and oil. It was a simple dish, but in its simplicity, lay its brilliance. The second dish was chicken, cooked in a manner that paid homage to the bird’s humble origins. It was tender, the kind of tender that speaks of hours of marinating and a chef’s careful attention. The spices were a melody on the palate, a symphony of flavors that sang of far-off places and homely kitchens. As I sat there, savoring each bite, I couldn’t help but think that this is an experience best shared. So here’s my recommendation: gather a group, four or more, and come down to this little gem. Opens late and it's cash only. Or etransfer... Food is on point. Although the clams should come out a lot hotter (temperature wise). Fish is good, fried rice could use some seasoning. Good price. A hungry guy can polish off these items. Would come back on late nights.

We have a regular spot for Cantonese-style stir-fry that becomes even more enticing in the evening thanks to its happy hour with very reasonable prices. My local friend recommended here for late supper. Cantonese/Hong Kong style late supper which serve in a medium sized dish, not too much food before sleep. Tastes very traditional, which brought me back to my hometown Canton. I believe they put less salt for late supper than regular supper because too much salt ... is not good for body and right before sleep. Excellent service and delicious authentic Chinese food with late night specials in a cozy but run down establishment. Chinatown movie vibes ;) Highly recommend the deep fried silverfish, honey garlic spareribs, deep fried pork intestines, and ginger pea shoots.
