Thank you Jon and company for doing everything you want and not pandering to the masses. Its incredibly refreshing to see people operating a restaurant that meetings the standards that they themselves set. I've read some stupid reviews about the rice being dry, the salmon being meh or the service ... being slow...whatever. Get over your self. This is fair food at exceptional prices. They're not trying to win awards or make it on Instagram's for the best pictures in the city. Its tasty food done right with the lowest prices on the street. Are you going here for the best sushi in town, no. But you'll get good service with seasoned personality and a meal that will satisfy. oh, and as for the sign above their shop appealing to the neighbourhood for permission to get a pot shop added to Yew Street, that aint happening. This is Kitsilano. The birthplace of the hippy movement and the foundation of Green Peace. There's plenty of weed on the beach and in the 'hood, we don't need another fake business opening up. What we need is more places like Kits Sushi. Read more
