Thank you Jon and company for doing everything you want and not pandering to the masses. Its incredibly refreshing to see people operating a restaurant that meetings the standards that they themselves set. I've read some stupid reviews about the rice being dry, the salmon being meh or the service ... being slow...whatever. Get over your self. This is fair food at exceptional prices. They're not trying to win awards or make it on Instagram's for the best pictures in the city. Its tasty food done right with the lowest prices on the street. Are you going here for the best sushi in town, no. But you'll get good service with seasoned personality and a meal that will satisfy. oh, and as for the sign above their shop appealing to the neighbourhood for permission to get a pot shop added to Yew Street, that aint happening. This is Kitsilano. The birthplace of the hippy movement and the foundation of Green Peace. There's plenty of weed on the beach and in the 'hood, we don't need another fake business opening up. Love this place. Mere steps from the iconic forefather of all Vancouver sushi. Kits sushi holds it's own with good, affordable and affable service. Most importantly they are open when their neighbour is closed.

Quality sushi. They have a lot of creative roll choices, but at the end of the day they are about the same overall satisfaction as the more traditional choices.

This is a good cheep sushi restaurant. The setup is very different from the sushi place next door. This is more of a take out place with the expectation that customers do not spend a lot of time in the store. The staff is very nice and will make good recommendations ... for sushi. Read more

I literally go nowhere else than Kits Sushi when I feel like eating Japanese food. The staff is friendly and wonderful. The location is right by the beach and the food is to die for. I have brought my whole family to Kits Sushi and they enjoyed it ... thoroughly. The price is extremely reasonable too!
