Good Japanese restaurant that prepared quality food and well presented. Too bad they had to close due to redevelopment. Hope they find a new location somewhere else.

[UPDATE] Came in for the Omakase. Top notch, unique original flavours, tasty with wonderful service. Very well thought out and execution spot on. The look and feel of the place is real nice. Open kitchen you can see the chefs at work preparing so you know it's fresh or care is ... taken for each dish. The food came out in a timely manner. Everything tasted good and each dish had it's own unique flavor so time and effort there, kudos. The soba/udon noodles are top notch. Didn't reserve a seat so had a time limit of 2 hours so I couldn't experience the Omakase but booked for another round at another time to try. I'm saddened to hear that this place will be closed because of some sort of development of the building. Another unique and great Japanese restaurant/shop bites the dust. Read more

Everything about Kinome is amazing. We always order the omakase, and you can't go wrong. They are most well known for their handmade soba noodles and seasonal ingredients. Food is pretty delicious and service is good. The food doesn't come out very quickly though, so it's best to expect a slower pace. We ordered a variety of dishes, and most were delicious, although the kale and mixed vegetable tempura seemed a little too oily. The handmade soba was ... fabulous.
