I would come here just for the Shanghai noodles. Thick, chewy and just enough soy-based sauce that the noodle remains the star of the show. The dumplings were no shrinking violets either, for the first time I ate them without a dipping sauce, such nice natural flavors.. it’s a nice ... enough restaurant with a relaxed vibe and the servers were sweet and friendly although…. I still haven’t got my Tsingtao :-) Read more
We had an average dim sum experience here and I am sure there are better places in the area. I miss the days when we could choose items from the dim sum carts but that seems to be a thing of the past. We orders many of the items we ... typically order when out for dim sum: spicy green beans, Chinese broccoli, steamed pork buns, pork siu mai , hargow, Shanghai pork dumplings, stuffed eggplant, taro dumplings, and egg tarts. Everything was ok and the people were somewhat nice but it felt very transactional and not very interesting. The egg tarts were inedible. I wouldn’t go back. Read more
Had dim sum previously and first time trying their dinner dishes. Cashew prawns - prawns are very salty and the cashews just sprinkle on top. Salt and pepper spare ribs are tasty except it’s the most salty dish of the night. Scallops are slightly undercooked. The spicy chicken has too ... much sauce. The beef noodle dish is good with “wok air” however it’s on the greasy side. The honey garlic chops are quite good. Overall the food quality is okay. Nothing goes really wrong except the heavy salt but nothing stands out neither. Not my preferred dinner choice. Read more
Didn’t find anything special about our dishes. Food and service was decent. I find the pricing a little high for the size of our plates. We found the Deep Fried Squid With Black Bean Sauce a bit on the salty side. The medium size Minced Beef With Cilantro Soup served the ... four of us well. Read more
Great dimsum, good service, good atmosphere. Turnover wasn't too bad, we didn't have to wait long but mind you we were there Thursday lunch. The place is big enough to accommodate a lot of people but it's popular so tables fill up fast. The only qualm I have is the ... price as dimsum shouldn't cost this much but what can one do about inflation 🤷🏻 also, note that their machines do not do contactless so make sure you know your pin no. Highly recommended Chinese restaurant in Chinatown! Read more
