Guys, this place is a hands down 10/10 spot!! The food here is incredible!! The eggplant was my FAVORITE, the 3 meat bbq with rice was mind blowing, the Shu Mai was freshly made and their sesame ball dessert was WHOA!! Try it, you won’t regret!!
the food was great, the staff were friendly and nice ambiance inside. we ordered salt baked chicken on rice, duck & pork with thick egg noodle, classic chicken bowl, roast duck on rice, spicy tofu, fried cauliflower and we all got a milk tea. we enjoyed everything that we ordered and ... we're all so full when we left the place. it's our first time here and will definitely be back whenever were in the area Read more
It's a great place for lunch in downtown. I like their decorations and the food has always been yummy. I had dan dan noodles that day, love the rich & flavorful peanut broth. My friends enjoyed their wonton & chicken bowls as well. We also shared the deep fried cauliflower ... (which can be more crispy) and prawns. Service was pretty fast and efficient despite how busy the restaurant was. Read more
We were so delighted walking out of the restaurant. Who knew! We were on our Sunday morning walk to check out a bakery nearby. Hunger stroke in the late morning and I had a craving for dim sum. I was thinking about Victoria but my husband reminded me ... of Heritage which we had read about recently. We were skeptical about how authentic the food would be given the location but we thought we would support a small business by giving a try and we are both very glad that we did! We ordered 3 items to share: 1. A rice dish with BBQ duck, BBQ park and roast chicken 2. Prawn toasts 3. Wonton in chili oil We walked in around 1130 and there was only one table seated inside. Service was extremely attentive. The server told us what the popular dishes were given it was our first visit. I love prawn toasts. The bread was crispy but soft on the inside. The paste had a nice slightly chewy texture. The heat level of the chili oil bathing the wontons was just right. All 3 meats on the rich plate were very nice. The duck pieces were juicy and tender and had a good layer of fat under the skin. The BBQ pork also had good proportions of fat and meat from belly part of the pig. The roast chicken pieces were flavourful and very tender as well. I’m glad to see that the restaurant was full by the tine we left around 1230. Read more
Having walked past a gazillion times, I’ve never really paid attention to Heritage. It’s so unassuming. Boy have I been missing out. Small menu, perfectly cooked. There wasn’t anything we ordered we didn’t like. Unlike many, the tastes weren’t sweet, overpowering and cloying, they were fresh, subtle and delicious. For ... example the broccoli and garlic tastes overwhelmingly of broccoli. The service was prompt and extremely friendly. Heritage will undoubtedly be a regular on my Vancouver go-to list Read more
