We came here as having vegan Vietnamese in our hometown Toronto is a family favourite. The owner is very nice and helped us make great selections. We had the paper spring rolls as starters, while I had the hot and sour soup (vegan) as a main meal. My wife had ... the vegan curry. My son had the beef dish. I really wanted to give a higher rating because the husband and wife who own this restaurant are so kind and welcoming, but the food just wasn't satisfying. Deluxe beef rice noodle soup: their rice noodle soups only come in one size. They offer medium-rare beef (unlike other restaurants that serve ... their beef rare). I liked that there was a lot of green onions & cilantro, but the broth was flavourless...like eating noodles in a bowl of hot water. I like to add Sriracha to my pho, but they had a cheap hot sauce that is spicy/sour. Not sure if this is due to the Sriracha shortage or if it's their norm. Charbroiled pork, fried egg, and lemongrass chicken on rice: usually when we order this at other Vietnamese restaurants it comes with soup, but this one didn't. The portion was also really small. Hanoi Pho is in a really rough neighbourhood (Downtown Eastside) so we were surprised that their prices were so high. Read more

Love the Vietnamese vibe here. If you're looking for the best PHO in town, look no further. The noodles are always perfectly cooked and the toppings are fresh. The service is friendly and efficient. Will definitely return !!!

Had their grilled chicken pho it was delicious!! Not only the food but the gentleman and his wife(?) who run the place are so friendly and welcoming!! Definitely recommend you to come in and try it out.
