This Japanese BBQ Vancouver location truly competes amongst the best BBQ restaurants. Our most enjoyed dishes were the Secret Pot and beef kalbi, but the toro beef, spicy pork, and pork belly were also good. A side dish of Kimchi is also recommended. Thanks again!

I recently visited here with a small group of family and friends for a holiday dinner, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. Despite having made a reservation beforehand, we were kept waiting for more than 15 minutes before being seated. We opted for the Meat Lover’s Combo, which ... had its ups and downs. While all the meats were marinated well and quite enjoyable, others fell short in taste and quality. The portion size was adequate for our group, but it was disappointing that not all selections were equally satisfying. The biggest letdown, however, was the abysmal customer service. Despite being a group of six, we were provided with only two menus. When we requested an additional menu, we were told they didn't have any available, which seemed like a basic oversight for a restaurant. Even calling for assistance resulted in a lengthy wait, adding to our frustration. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lacking, primarily due to poor ventilation. My first time trying korean bbq and it was very delicious and fun. We picked the 4 person menu $170 and it was around 20 pieces from sushi and salad to all different proteins pieces, beef, chicken and pork. I read the reviews and decided to go check this spot out. I honestly kind of admit the last time I had such an amazing delicious barbecue experience. Sheldon my server was awesome and recommended a really good dinner for two. Me and my son had one of the most ... memorable meal ever. I highly recommend this spot and we will definitely be coming back often. We also love the location atmosphere is average but the food and the service was five stars all the way around. Highly recommend the spot. If you click on the pictures you'll see the three tastiest meats we got. I highly recommend all these they're thicker slices. Also you don't need to overcook these things 30 to 50 seconds max they'll melt in your mouth. Read more
