Everything is perfect in this place, the food is very delicious and finely prepared, they serve Jazmin tea in a beautifully organized rounded table, we end up taking the rest to go, we just couldn't let it behind. My favourite was the tendon and the fried squid.

I've always driven past this restaurant but never ate here until now. A coworker of mine suggested we try this place for dim sum and I'm very happy we did. I made resos for 6 ppl at 11am and was seated right away on a Saturday. I wanted a place ... that still had dim sum carts but unfortunately this restaurant didn't due to it's size but they actually didn't need it. The food we ordered was steaming hot and fresh when it came to the table. We ordered quite a few items to try and it was so worth it! The servers were great and always checked our table to see if we needed anything or took the empty dishes away. I want to find a place on Fraser Street to have lunch .After checking the reviews online, I discovered that this place has received positive feedback. Maybe today is Monday, it is not crowded , and some tables are available.We ordered Steamed Scallop Dumplings, Beef Tripe & Tendon ... in Special Sauce, Baby Cuttlefish in Curry Sauce, Stir Fried Radish Cake in Spicy XO Sauce, and jellyfish with vegetarian goose. I enjoyed all of the dishes as they were not overly salty or greasy and were very tasty. The portion sizes and prices were reasonable. The only downside is that there is no free parking and the number of available tables is limited. If I find myself in this area again, I will definitely come back. Read more

I noticed this place 3 years ago and had been meaning to try them. My friend was kind enough to invite me to a birthday dinner and she gave me three choice for location. I picked Good Choice. The restaurant is very small – perfect size for a family dinner. ... We had a great meal. All the items were good except for the BBQ duck. I would not order the BBQ duck again. Two of us came back for a meal because we were craving Braised Egg Tofu. We were pleasantly surprised that they offer us the lunch dim sum menu as well. A lot of the lunch items were perfect for a table of two. That meant we were able to try more dishes and not have to worry about eating the same left overs forever. We asked for a dish that was not on the menu – deep fried black cod. They dipped it in some kind of sticky batter which was nicer than flour. Unfortunately though, my partner claimed that his piece was still cold inside. I finished the rest of the black cod, it wasn't as steaming hot as it should have been. Lots of bones. Next time, we will stick with what's on the menu. I am giving this place a five star because of what it is – a great family size restaurant, with perfect serving size for the two of us (and larger serving size for the family), able to customize, and most of all, for a very nice lady who might be the owner/manager who smiled at us and really welcomed us even though we were strangers. Good Choice Restaurant's ALL DAY dim sum is a great bang-for-a-buck, especially for take out! They offer 10% off all take out orders, which is an absolute steal considering their large portions here. Whether you're looking to dine-in or take-away, they have great safety measured in place, and their food is ... sure to satisfy. For dining in, I highly recommend making a reservation first & calling beforehand, as they do not have many tables inside and gets quite busy during lunchtime - ESPECIALLY on the weekends.
