Ginger sushi wins for quality within affordability every time! We love having this spot on the Drive, their sushi is fresh and creative.

Food is great but consistently take out times are quoted incorrectly. For example, they’ll say 45 minute and it ends up being closer to 70, or 15 minutes on the phone and after you arrive 15 minutes later they’ll say it’s another 15 minutes. We decided to take a Sunday walk along Commercial Drive with our dog. It was wet and rainy and we were lucky to come across a dry table outside of Ginger Sushi. We ordered a few items. The tea was served hot and perfect for this ... wet afternoon. The tuna and salmon sashimi was fresh. The miso soup hot. The tempura crispy and sauce perfect. The house roll, negitoro roll and spicy tuna were all yummy. They had a good rice to fish ratio. The restaurant is a nice little restaurant. Service was good.
