Ordered the Mango Sago. The dessert tasted great but a lot of the sago and large mango chunk pieces were still frozen.
This place is a gem! We originally plotted on our gps to go to blackball but this was along the way and hesitantly gave it a try. Well it was the best decision ever. I hesitantly chose the milk pudding, the owner lady suggested I get it hot. ... The wifey got the grass jelly/taro/ice cream desert. My gosh, we were blown 🤯away on how good they tasted. I was instantly hooked with the jello, creamy goodness of the milk pudding. The lady owner was so pleasant and made sure we were okay. Since first contact, we have a craving of fresh legend everyones in a while and we make a special trip to have their deserts. Highly recommended Read more
Whenever I'm in the mood for Asian desserts, I head to Fresh Legend. This small mom and pop shop has become a favorite of mine, and I've been here multiple times, each visit as consistent as the last. I absolutely enjoy supporting local businesses, and the friendly and polite service ... here adds to the charm. I'll definitely be back, and I have a particular fondness for the Thai Black Glutinous Rice Desserts, which perfectly balance hot and cold elements. Read more
Been several times to Fresh Legend, a Taiwanese/HK dessert spot. Always the same lady running the front (with her husband in the back). Minimum order of one item per person. Debit or cash only. - Grass jelly, fresh taro and mix jelly ($8.45) - grass jelly was fantastic; homemade, slightly herbaceous. Taro ... balls were warm and chewy. - Mango sago ($6.75) - a touch frozen but sago was excellent and the mango was a perfect sweetness. - Watermelon grass jelly ($6.75) - Mango grass jelly ($6.95) - mango sago with the addition of grass jelly. Good. - Tofu dessert with black sesame soup ($7.45) - not sweet as they don't drizzle any syrup on the tofu. Black sesame was tasty. - Almond soup ($5.95) - thick and piping hot. - Winter melon tea with herbal jelly & taro balls ($4.95) - winter melon had a subtle nutty note. Not too sweet. - Mango grass jelly ($6.95) - Tofu dessert with sweet almond soup ($7.45) - tasty combination. Will continue to come back to FL! Read more
Delicious desserts here! Very authentic and reasonably priced. The only thing I would keep in mind is that every MUST order an item, so don't come here planning on sharing
