Took my mother and sister out to my go to Japanese spot while they were visiting. As expected everyone was more than satisfied. Amazing experience with the table side searing. Drinks were cold and tasty. Staff kind, attentive and knowledgeable while going above and beyond. 10/10

Happy Hour Oysters 99 cents ya cant beat that price!! First time here we came for late nite HH and found their menu had enough items to keep us very happy. The oysters were amazing, the salmon sashimi pieces were a nice portion size. The California Eel roll was very ... tasty. The chicken karage was good. The beer was $3.99!! The servers were nice and friendly. You just cant beat the dollar value of this place. I was at a resturant on Broadway n Fir just before coming here. This spot is definitely one of my favourites especially with their happy hour buck-a-shuck oysters! Excellent presentation and service from the staff. Planning on coming again soon to try out more of their menu. My partner and I got happy hour oysters, takoyaki balls, ocean red rolls, salmon pepper poppers, strawberry margarita ... and shirley temple :)! Read more

While I was in Vancouver I was lucky enough to discover this place on a Saturday afternoon for happy hour and took full advantage of their Buck a Shuck oysters which I was told were local from Vancouver Island. They were small to average in size but delicious with a ... little of their accompanying sauce and a dash of Tabasco. I also tried the salmon sashimi, agedashi tofu, and scallop motoyaki off the happy hour menu. I was generally pleased with all my selections and the staff were all super accommodating and helpful. love the lunch set here! it’s 23$ with choice of three food items! personally i would recommend sushi rolls, spicy tuna, avocado rolls and dynamite rolls are my favourite! the fried chicken is also good, the marinade is exactly like those i had in japan! definitely recommend it
