I would give BT cafe a 3.5 out of 5. We waited for a bit but was seated once a table was free. I would definitely recommend the club sandwich here. There's just the right amount of sauce and the ratio of meat to vegetable to bread is good. The ... fries are also really crunchy but also soft on the inside. I had the curry and also the pasta (forgot to take pictures). They were just ok. Would not recommend those. The milk tea is also just average but please come for the club sandwich and also the steamed milk dessert. The service as with all Hong Kong style restaurants is rough and usually pretty fast. New visit: 2022 June update - we came right at opening time. We sat down and promptly ordered. They serve breakfast at 11:00 to 11:30 so they are hounded with those orders. We wanted the club house sandwich with fries which isn't part of their breakfast menu but they were very accommodating and let us order it. The sandwich was delicious as always and the fries were really crispy. The Hong Kong style milk tea was delicious and not overly sweet. One of the better HK style milk teas in Vancouver. Very smooth and strong with tea flavour We ordered set A+B which comes with an omelet of your choice and either toast or HK style French toast. Also a choice of soup noodles (we got the satay style macaroni). The chicken omelet was very soft and delicious. The french toast wasn't overly oily and had a good amount of Kaya jam inside. The satay beef soup noodles had more satay flavour than most other places but still could use a little more. The corner beef egg sandwich wasn't overly salty. I wish it had more beef. I would skip on this sandwich. Overall would come again for breakfast set and for the club house sandwich. Definitely get the HK milk tea. The price is very reasonable considering inflation costs right now. New VISIT: 2024 I got the set A+B for breakfast which they only serve for around 30 minutes. This is the most economical set here. Comes with milk tea and you can switch it to French toast for free. Would definitely come back for this. We got the satay beef noodles. They do a good satay beef. I heard this place is busy all the time so I got there just before 11:30 am and got a table right away. Food tasted good, big portions and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and efficient. First time at BT as I was stuck in traffic. Heard tons of great things over the years. Seems like they had recently renovated the interior. Service was warm and very prompt. Small restaurant. Seats about 30 people. Hard to see this restaurant from the outside. Ordered noodles in soup and baked rice and a cold lemon drink, hot milk tea was free. Totals to $32, very cheap. Portions are big, we were full for dinner. Taste is on point with good ... flavor, and soft meat. People who rated low probably ordered the wrong things. The baked rice is comparable to happy day cafe and the noodles are similar to deer garden while being cheaper. Read more
