Always saw it but never been before as it’s kind of tucked away. The food exceeded our expectations, it’s the most authentic chinese food I have eaten in Kits! We orded the 鱼香茄子（stirfry eggplant), 麻婆豆腐 (ma po tofu), 回锅肉（twice fried pork), they were all really delicious! Will be back for ... sure. Read more
Food is decent but we found it a bit pricey. However it isn’t super busy and it’s easy to get a table which counts for something.
My partner and I celebrated our wedding last weekend at Bashu Sichuan. The food and the staff excelled any expectations we had. We had 50 guests in attendance and the resounding opinion was that not only was the 10 course meal the best they had eaten but it was the ... best wedding they had ever attended. We were both celebrating milestone birthdays so all of the guests thought they were attending a birthday party and were surprised that it was actually a wedding. Oliver organised everything by helping us select the perfect menu and setting up the room beautifully. We owe all of the staff or sincerest gratitude for making our special day absolutely perfect. What a neat experience eating at Bashu! I've never been to the Sichuan region, but I think the food and dining style here must be very authentic. Be warned: most of the dishes are very spicy! If you like that, you'll be in heaven. If you avoid spicy foods, you can ... still enjoy Bashu, but look for menu items without the red pepper icons next to the names. Read more
