Discovered this place a few months ago. Doesn't look like much on the outside and the decor on the inside is dated. But what a great place to eat. There is a bit of everything for everyone in my picky eating family of 5. We Like Sushi and Japanese or Chinese ... food, my son likes western food (burger and fries) and my kids like breakfast food. The prices are reasonable, good portions and quite good. The one person show server is hard working and efficient...she's always there and makes that place run smoothly when it gets busy. Being a regular I love this place. A great place to go for sushi and other Japanese cuisine even some Chinese and western dishes too. The waitress always has a great attitude and is a hard worker. I'm eating dinner here tonight. After reading all the people's post how terrible this place is, I decided to eat here. I find nothing wrong with my orders. I guess I'm one of the few that enjoyed it here. I've eaten Japanese, Chinese & Western style ... here that's over the course of two years now. I got a chance to actually meet & talked to the owner. After reading the poor rating for this place. It brought tears in my eyes. My father & uncle owned a restaurant just like this in the 1970s in Comox in Vancouver Island. We never had computers back then. If we did. I would have asked either in a survey or asked customer how could we have served you better? I really empathize with this place. Read more
I usually don't leave reviews but the food was so bad that we keep joking about it. We had to kill time before an appointment around the corner and thought despite the unusual variety of foods they offer, they should be able to make a decent simple meals. It's just a ... sad, desperate place and I am sad to write that as the people were very friendly. Regardless, never, ever again. I didn't know you could mess up even burgers and fries...amazing. Really friendly service. We ordered sushi (California, rainbow, spicy tuna, Alaska rolls) and won ton soup. All were very good. Interesting menu with a variety from all over. We would def come back.
