Fantastic evening, you made our trip. Great food. It's been so hard to find a truly homefire restaurant that has such a high standard to bring great tasting good for you cuisine. The hallumi was perfectly cooked and crispy. The poutine was on point. Oh my were the oyster mushrooms delicious. That arburger ... was hard to put down. We finished it all off with the sticky pudding. We were shocked to hear there are only two more days to enjoy this magnificent gem. One of the best vegan restaurants in town. The Arburger is hands down tastiest vegetarian burger I’ve ever had. Will definitely be ordering that again if it shows up elsewhere. The deep fried Halloumi is a veggie version of fish n chips, and it was good but it didn’t quite ... get there… The poutine was very nice, and the ketchup seemed homemade and also very nice according to my boyfriend who is a ketchup freak… They have a back patio, very comfortable space with those tower heaters on. Being vegetarian, I was quite excited to try out the food here with my family, but was slightly disappointed by the evening. Service was rather slow. It was a Saturday night however so we understood. But that being said, there were practically only 2 servers. We were told we also ... had an out time and didn’t really felt taken care of during the experience. That being said, they were very kind and accommodative. The food was sub-par. Nothing that stood out too much, but still tasted alright enough to eat and take home. Might not come back for sake of price as well as we did not think it was worth what we paid for. But, I would still recommend giving this place a try and seeing it for yourself as I think this place comes down to personal preferences. The fact that you could tell the food was fresh also was very nice to see. I see why this place has good reviews and I think this was just a one-off for us that we personally just did not feel amazed by it. Great spot for a gluten free celiac! The menu states no cross contamination for the fryer ! Lovely spot and will be coming back for sure! Great burgers and house made ketchup!

I ordered the halloumi and upon seeing it I was about to be disappointed because it looked so simple but I was AMAZED. It is so good! And it comes with great sauces and a yummy potato pancake 😋 It was a tad bit too oily but I guess that ... is expected with these kinds of rich dishes. Good drink prices and they offer a choice of sparkling water or regular which was nice. Definitely coming again for more comfort food. The menu is not very extensive but they have quality dishes.
