We came to the city square food court around 7 pm on Monday, admittedly the food square are closing as the staff is cleaning. However, there are two stores still open, my 5 years old daughter was starving, so we bought some noodle from one of the still opening stores, ... thinking that since the store was still selling stuff, we could sit down and eat. But then a security guy came up and told us not to sit in the food court as they are closed. I asked for a favor to let us stay so my daughter could finish her noodle, and we would clean up afterwards but he firmly refused. My husband was mad and the security guy was even more mean. So we had to leave with soup noodle in hand and a panicked 5 year old to find some other places to eat. He had absolutely no compassion at all, and yelled at my family. Sent in a photo of this guy. Nine Dumplings - Ordered 2 orders of 9 piece sampler set at $11.99 each… order using the large lcd screen. Very nice gentleman and gave us tea.. I thought just cheap tea in a disposable cup but was pleasantly surprised. Served in a nice ceramic cup and cast iron kettle. ... Same business as the one in Nine Dumblings At Robson Public market. Vancouver's own historic City Square Shopping Centre located near City Hall in the city center. Paid underground parking

Old shopping center. The food Court has limited choices. The shops are convenient for quick shopping

Came to shop at 8pm at Sungiven on a Sunday, while the wife and the 3 year-old shopped, the 10 year-old and I sat at the food court to study and wait. A security guard tried to kick us out of the food court saying it is closed (picture attached ... as she refused to give us a name). She refused to show us why we cannot sit at the food court when a stall was still open (you can see a customer sitting in front of the open food stall in the picture). People were walking about around going to the open restaurant, food court stall and fitness centre. We wanted to complain about the arbitrary policy but the security guard said we just have to do what she says, she refused to connect us with management so we could complain: instead, she called 911. We were leaving and she started to taunt us to stay until the cops came "why are you running away scared?". This is as we were trying to bundle up the two kids to head home.
