🌟 Budget Bites and Eclectic Sights: A Morning at Bon's Off Broadway 🌈 🍳 Nestled in the heart of Vancouver on Nanaimo Street, Bon's Off Broadway isn't just a breakfast spot; it's a portal to a world brimming with urban flair. Walking into Bon's is like stepping onto a vibrant street ... corner, where every inch is a canvas covered in graffiti, echoing the city's pulse. 🥞 I indulged in their iconic $2.95 breakfast deal, a testament to how good, straightforward food doesn't need to be pricey. The dish, a generous assortment of breakfast staples, was a symphony of flavors, each bite a nod to the traditional breakfasts that warm the soul. 🎨 Bon's isn't your typical diner—it's a live gallery of street art and creativity, where the essence of the city's streets is brought indoors. The atmosphere is electric, infused with a raw, unfiltered energy that makes every visit an adventure. 💸 Offering a menu that caters to all your morning cravings without breaking the bank, Bon's Off Broadway is more than a dining establishment; it's a celebration of street culture and culinary delight. It's a place where art meets appetite, where every visit is an immersion into the vibrant heart of urban life. For anyone seeking an authentic slice of the city's breakfast scene with a side of street-inspired ambiance, Bon's Off Broadway is your destination. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that captures the essence of Vancouver's spirited streets. Read more
Hands down the best all day breakfast you can get in Vancouver, especially for the price: $2.95 for 2 eggs, ham, toast, and potatoes. Staff are super nice and chill. Ordered 2 portions since I haven't eaten all day, and I couldn't finish the entire plate. Bill came out to $6.30 ... after tax. Everything tasted as great as the price. The only downside is the prices for drinks. A small cup of coffee/tea is $3.50, and $2 more for refills. Pop costs $5 while a small cup of milk costs $6. Water is free, and self serve with pitchers by the till. But I understand, the restaurant has to make money somehow. And even a $6 cup of milk and a $2.95 plate of breakfast is still cheaper than most other restaurants. Read more
I love the food. I normally don't like thick hashbrown but these were properly seasoned. The food is quite delightful. I'll be back again. The service was good, and timely. I appreciate the affordability, however, when considering the price of a size small juice is $6, the value is not ... there. The juice wasn't good, it wasn't real, and for that price I'd say its really not worth it. Read more
Service was phenomenal, waiter was great and attentive and the old school atmosphere is good. The food quality? Way beyond sub par I was better off eating 2for1 Wendy's breakfast in all fairness for a bill and price of $38.88 definitely did not meet my taste on food standards especially ... for a downtown renown restaurant. Unfortunately I will not be coming back again, expected better food quality at the price point for as simple as breakfast. There hash browns which were basically wedges were dry under cooked but also burnt, french toast was just barely cooked not to mention watered down hot sauce? I'll be sticking to my local spot near Scott road in Surrey. Read more
