Reviews for ThaiBowl in Toronto, Ontario
I thought this place was a ruse as they’re called Thai Bowl yet serve the most delicious Szechuan food I’ve ever had. Whenever friends and family ask me where they should eat around Dundas I’ll recommend them to come here as the whiplash of getting served some of their world ... class piping hot spicy beef noodle from a place called Thai Bowl makes this a true culinary experience. Unfortunately, they’re closed for a month or so to relocate but trust me when I say the day they reopen will be a brighter day for humanity Read more
The food here is delicious. Has a very homely and authentic taste. I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve tried on the menu. Wonton soup in chilli oil is to cry for 😭 but in a good way! Edit: I can’t believe you closed down!! Will you be reopening at all?
Found this place accidentally when I was searching for Thai food. But this one turned out to be Chinese food, Szechuan food to be specific. Szechuan food is known for its hot and spicy flavor and this place does a good job. I've tried multiple dishes but the five start ... rating is for the noodles: 1) "sweet water noodle" is sweet and spicy with a touch of sesame paste; the noodle is as thick as udon noodle but quite firm and chewy like al dented pasta. No vegetables or meat but still amazing flavor. 2) "dry-tossed noodle with ground pork and fried yellow peas" is hot and spicy; it also has the soup noodle version but I opted for dry-tossed as I didnt want the soup to spill on my way home; with strong and original flavor, this is a classic Szechuan noodle that I always order at each Szechuan restaurants to test its authentication... and I love it. I also tried the dishes as part of combo but they were not as impressive as the noodle. Will definitely come back for more noodles! Read more
Clean with friendly Wait Staff conveniently located in the College Park Food Court at Yonge and College. My guest and I both had the special of the day lemon chicken with vegetables and noodles. The chicken was lightly battered and the lemon wasn't overpowering. The veggies included cabbage, broccoli and carrots. Good ... deal for the money. Debit/credit card accepted unlike some of the competitors who require cash only. Read more
