The last three times I've gone there to get soup, they are out of ingredients. The soup itself is delicious but Ruby Thai should be mindful that at 1-1:30, people are still eating lunch. Otherwise they will lose business.
2023.09.22 There are options to order combos of pre-cooked items from their steam table or cook to order items. Their Thai Pad See Ew (with meat of your choice, bean sprouts and egg) is cooked to order in front of you. The noodles are cooked al dente and the beef ... slices are tender which is good. However, it is soggy from too much sauce, no charring on the noodles and no wok hei (smoky wok flavor). The color is monotonously brown and a bit unappetizing. It is also missing the crunchy texture of the traditionally used Chinese broccoli (Gai Lan) since they substitute it with bean sprouts. The taste is overly on the sweet side which might be great for those who have sweet tooth but might not be right for those who look for a balance savory umami taste. 2023.10.02 Pad Thai is probably the most popular made to order item at this outlet. The rice noodles are bouncy and chewy. There are bits of onions, bean sprouts, and green onions. It lacks the egg, dried shrimp, tofu and could use more of the bean sprouts for the crunch. The taste leans to the sour side instead of a balanced sour, sweet and salty. Too much of the sauce also makes the overall dish soggy. Read more
My go to place for work lunch. I always get the beef brisket shanghai noodles because it's so delicious and its filling. The price for the noodles with a soft drink is around $15, which is not bad for a food court quick meals. The service here is really fast ... so the line-up doesn't too long. Read more
To be fair this place made good, hearty and cheap noodles soup, not sure about a le carte menu. Definitely not a Thai cuisine focused eatery. I got a spicy beef noodles soup for lunch. Braised beef was tender and flavorful, much better than beef in noodles soup at other Chinese ... takeout places. Soup was ok. Service was fast. Kitchen was clean as well. A decent lunch place for folks working around the PATH. Read more

I always go for the rice noodles. Here’s my recommendation: Guilin noodles, dan dan (minced pork) sauce, spicy soup. Extra egg, all vegetables. This is one of my favourite lunch spots in the path. Very affordable ($12 to $13). If you’re back in the office 3 times or more per week, ... this is a great choice. If you come at 11:50, not a long line at all! Read more
