The mall is conveniently located and mostly accessible. I would like to mention that the little wheelchair elevator in 2300 Yonge (between the tower and the mall entrance) doesn't work until you call someone to turn the key on for you. All of us use elevators every day; just imagine ... how inconvenient this is for a person with a wheelchair or walker. Please leave it turned on. Thanks Read more
Even though the TTC is attached, if you want to get to the top floor (4 flights up) in the morning, be ready for a pre-workout. The escalator security guys don't get off their butts until 6:30, even though this is much later than the first trains into the station. ... Small, indoor, multi level shopping centre located at the heart of midtown. The mall was recently renovated and made a little more accessible. Most popular destinations include the cinemas, Indigo, Metro (24hr), LCBO and Urban Outfitters.
The mall is wonderful but I was here from out of town and was greatly disturbed that there construction went all hours and had willfully disregarded residents by disposing garbage loud banging. When we went to security they said management said nothing we can do. Will never visit this mall ... due to the lack of concider Arion for people. Read more

I’d like to share my experience at Empress walk.I haven’t been to Cineplex Theatres since before the pandemic started. We decided to go last week.as I recall prior to the pandemic , one elevator was often broken going up from the parking lot. There was a long line waiting to ... get on. Nothing has changed. We finally got upstairs to the theatres, saw Wonka and then headed to the elevators. OMG…. A huge line with disabled people also waiting with the theatre patrons. We weren’t going to wait again, so We decided to take the escalators down without knowing where we were going… just following the crowd . On the street level there was signage but not very clear. Again we followed the crowd down 4 flights of stairs to the Loblaws level parking lot but were still not in p1. We, my husband of 92 years old and Me , 79 years old went down the ramps huddled against the wall so to not get run down by the cars going up.Finally we saw the light at the tunnel….P1. We were so happy to find our car. When we got in, we both swore that we would never ever come to this terrible movie theatre again. Access from the parking to the theatre need so much more improvement. Read more
