Green Mango - Toronto, Ontario

Green Mango is my treat to my family every week and we are never disappointed. Personal favourites are the shrimp spring rolls, the curry pumpkin soup, chicken pad Thai and pineapple beef fried rice. The food is always fresh and delicious, the staff friendly and courteous.

Had the plan to come in for an appointment but had an hour to kill. Was hungry so I figured to come in and have a bite. When I arrived, I didn't get acknowledged until 10 minutes after. Felt kind of weird standing at the entrance for a bit longer ... than I should have but I had time, so it wasn’t that bad. By the time I was acknowledged, I was given the choice to pick any table.when I sat down, I was greeted by a menu. The prices were a bit high, but was hungry so I ordered a basil chicken fried rice which came by quickly and it was delicious! Loved my plate. Would order it again. Just knocked down a star for atmosphere and service because it’d be great if they were more attentive. But overall, I’d come back. It was my first time there and food was good! Our server Minh was absolutely delightful. He was so polite and friendly. The food was fresh, quick and affordable. And the ambiance was calm and inviting. We had a really good lunch experience. 5/5 stars!

I had a bad experience at this restaurant as I went there for the $16 lunch menu. The "pad thai" was bad and not authentic at all. I understand this is a Vietnamese Thai fusion cuisine restaurant, but as a Vietnamese person, I don't recommend this dish at all. I ... asked for the dish to be replaced with a different lunch special, but they wanted to charge me extra for the new dish. I took a bite and left the plate as is. My coffee order was also made quickly at the counter so that I would pay for that too. Overall I would not recommend this place for lunch as it's cheaply and poorly made food. Read more

It was my first time in a thai restaurant. We tried Curry beef, Garlic shrimp, Hot and spicy soup, Spicy noodles with chicken and basil, Garlic beef, and Fried wonton. It was a nice experience.
