Stopped by for lunch on Canada Day. The restaurant wasn't busy and it didn't take long for the food to show up. I have tried different Thai cuisine places before but I was excited to try new dishes this time at BuaThai. Really disappointed in this place. My friend and I came here for lunch and we started with the appetizer platter.. I’m eating the mango salad and noticed that I put my fork through a fly. I called over the waiter, he apologized and took the fork from me. They didn’t ... even try to replace the plate, nor did they even remove off the bill.. even a discount would have been nice. Usually when someone finds something in their plate, from my experience, it is removed from the table. Makes me uneasy about returning back to this restaurant. Read more

Stopped by to pick up lunch for my daughter and me. Patient with me as I made choices (an item my daughter wanted was not available). Many times I have been at this restaurant for lunch with my daughter......they are always helpful, efficient, and pleasant. The food is always delicious!

I had an exceptional dining experience. The menu is well-presented. The furniture is new. The decor is relevant and uses Thai cultural elements. Ihad as a snack the Tom Yum soup and an order of spring rolls. Both were exceptional. Staff is very attentive. Ambiance is peaceful, no loud ... music and warm lighting is pleasant. The very best Thai restaurant in Canada!! The chicken coconut soup is the best I have EVER had. The coconut rice is very good too. The curry chicken is amazing!! The banana dessert was lovely ....wish we had ice cream toppings though.. Had enjoyable conversations with the lady (owner) who informed us that ... it's a family run business and lots of love goes into making the food. The ambiance is beautiful.
