My favourite pho place in town, their satay sauce is legendary. Sad to see it’s closed but happy to hear the owners are going to retire and enjoy life. Many good memories left there, cheers to Bach Yen!

I loved this place. Felt like I’m inside old diner. And omg the broth is to die for. I think it’s my favourite pho I ever had. Highly recommend! Also don’t ruin the broth with any sauces, try in first!

Very hole in the wall restaurant, but the food was really tasty! The spicy lemongrass vermicelli was really great and unexpectedly very spicy, and the broth for pho was good too. We also got the platter where we could make our own rolls which was a fun experience. The owner ... was also really friendly even with a minor language barrier, when I took my parents here they actually recognized it as an old congee restaurant that they had visited in the 80s while they were still in high school, so they chatted with the owner about that as well! Comforting Vietnamese food with a really nice owner. It was so good in fact, that I came back a second time for lunch and the owner actually recognized me the second time round. I would definitely recommend the dry noodles option. Lots of meat, lots of veggies.
