Chipotle - Toronto, Ontario

Had a quick lunch at Chipotle for the very first time. For years I had heard very positive things about this restaurant chain so it was my turn to check it out. I was drawn to the tacos I just needed to decide on my protein which I eventually settled ... for Carnitas. The attendant took their time constructing my lunch and asking what I would like on my tacos. I chose to have white rice, black bean, pico, green salsa, shredded cheese and lettuce on my carnitas tacos. Grabbed a bottle of water to go with the meal as well and the total came to $16 after tax. I would say that is a little on the high side but considering the price of everything lately that's now average. Dressed one of my tacos up with some red Tabasco sauce and another with some green Tabasco then proceeded to sit down and eat. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I did notice that the carnitas protein was warm at best. A little hotter would have made the meal more enjoyable. I will make a suggestion and perhaps it will be ignored but a lot of restaurants are guilty of blasting loud music throughout their building. I don't think it needs to be this way. Read more

Pro tip: wear a tank top and you’ll get more protein in your bowl! May 16/24- from the gym and you’ll certainly get more protein! I went with my friend around 10:06PM and we got food. I ordered a chipotle bowl, and then later got a drink. I ate some then brought my food home. I just decided to eat now as I’m starving (3:00AM). I was eating and found a BLACK hair in my bowl. I ... was doubting myself saying it’s probably mine but I have BROWN HAIR. So I kept eating, because I am so hungry. Then I found a SECOUND black hair. And looked very closely/carefully. That’s definitely not mine because again, brown hair. Also I don’t lose a lot of hair, and I was wearing a black & red hoodie with the hood up. Chicken al pastor chipotle bowl! Best!!! I recommend. They’ve reduced their portion size but I still love the taste.

Ordered through delivery for 2 chicken bowls. The food ingredients were fine but the amount of meat was pretty small even for Chipotle standards. Portion size of meat should be adequate especially when considering the portions of the other ingredients.
