Hot Star Large Fried Chicken - Toronto, Ontario

I enjoyed the huge piece of chicken. I ordered the original chicken with salt and pepper and it was gigantic. The apple yogurt drink was also good. The place was pretty clean as well (I suppose due to the lack of people eating in there).

Horrible… ordered mushroom and got no mushroom, just raw flour inside. The chicken also tastes stale and the breading was soggy. This is after a 30min wait

I was here on Saturday, the person preparing the food was eating chicken wings. He was wearing gloves, eating chicken wings, preparing food. Why even bother with the gloves? Service is terrible and slow. Food quality is awful. Overly breaded weird tasting chicken. It was an overall disgusting experience.

The extra large Taiwanese fried chicken is really tasty. Room for improvement, the staffs should really pay attention to customers. Both were busy chatting and kinda of giving me the impression that they're ignoring customers.

Crispy and moist and ridiculously HUGE!!! Taiwanese large fried chicken. Seen it before and finally got to try it. Not disappointed at all. Least to say, I couldn’t finish the combo that comes with some nice soda water drinks and fries. I think that the combo with just the drink ... is definitely enough to fill you up, but if you decide to go with the fries and drink combo, it’s definitely a shareable plate. Had the large spicy crispy fried chicken and another person had the cheese fried chicken. The spicy chicken brought on tons of heat but a lot of nice flavour.
