Had dinner on a Sunday night. Overall Great food, portions too small for the price. The mezza is great, but overpriced for the very small portions. Loved the muhammara and the beef kebbeh The falafels themselves are great, but the “falafel plate” is just falafel with a small amount of salad. I stumbled upon this restaurant while I was scrolling for something new I've never tasted before. And I was blown away by how flavourful and tasty this food was. I ordered one of the specials that included cherries and beef, but once you try it you will realize that these 2 ... ingredients were meant to be together. The cherries were the STAR of the show. It was not at all tart but sweet and savory. It made the beef wrap even more tasty. My partner got the chicken special and that was also delicious. Ohh and we also started with some meat and cheese patties with some Syrian coffee. We ended the night with a cake desert which was also my favorite. My gf and I came here for a date and we were amazed by the experience. The waitress was very understanding of our lack of knowledge on the culture’s cuisine and gave us a rundown of what to try out. All of her suggestions were top notch and the food we ... got was immaculate. What can I say but wonderful on all counts? The food, the service, the atmosphere...everything was perfect. My sister and I had come to Zezafoun for an impromptu dinner meet up. The hosts were so kind and patient with our questions, and requests for small substitutions (due to a few ... dietary restrictions).
