It is not a fancy restaurant, but the quality of food is good with attention to the price. I like this place.

I am a 3rd year U of T student living in the area. It is my first time visiting this restaurant due to the pandemic, and I regret not coming before. I ordered a nigiri combo (K) and a sashimi set (M, picture lost). But I was already full after ... finishing the nigiri combo! I have been to several Japanese restaurants in GTA, and I can say that the sashimi here is fresh and delicious. Great selection, and you can't beat the price. Offers eat in, delivery and take-out options. It's right next to the University of Toronto campus hence the name. You get a 10% discount if you pay cash. When I dined in the restaurant, it smelled like cigarette smoke because it was ... coming through the back where the staff are. Alright place, food in 7/10 ordered a curry pork rice and delivered in about 10mins. Bit small but fine. Students eat here. Edit Apr 8 2019 Ok so the food really doesn't match the pic on the menu. Was not expecting that. Tips are calculated after tax being applied. Be aware.

A quick, (almost) no nonsense sushi lunch experience. Their express menu items are modestly priced and of decent quality. Service was stern but not unkind. The restaurant was clean and pleasant.
