They do half hour sittings and although we were late for ours they were really accommodating in squeezing us into the next one. I'd recommend making a reservation. I would definitely come back here - the value ($70/pp) is amazing for the freshness, quality & quantity of the sushi, especially ... for omakase. It's a casual atmosphere and you're standing the entire time - a fun experience where you can watch the chefs prepare each course and interact with them. Very good sushi. It's a stand-up sushi bar where pieces are given to you one by one. You can converse with the chef preparing your food which adds to the atmosphere. The sushi quality is very high for Toronto standards and the price is fairly high too. This is not a ... filling meal but a good snack or appetizer before a meal. The staff were very accommodating and the service was excellent. The uni and salmon roe were particularly good. Worth a try and you will leave hungry with just the set menu. Read more

It’s a nice place for people who want to try out omakase with limited budget and who care more about the food quality than the experience. We went there on a Monday night and finished everything within 20 minutes. It’s a new experience compare to other omakase places we’ve been ... to. The fish quality is quite good based on the price. Maybe because we went there a bit earlier than the scheduled time, they let us in and started serving us. However, the rice temperature is a bit higher than normal. At first I thought it’s the chef’s choice but the temperature drops lower to the normal range during the middle of the serving made the first few bites a bit weird. Read more

We had a very enjoyable time here. They served us each 11 sushi + 1 handroll omakase style, all of which were absolutely delicious. The raw seafood was all very fresh. The chefs making our sushi were very friendly, chatted with us and briefly described each sushi that was served ... to us. The ambience was great, food was delicious, price was fair, probably my favourite omakase so far. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Can’t wait to come back. Read more

A fantastic Omakase experience! Our chef was very open to talk to and made a great presentation with each new sushi piece. $60 a person which is quite fair in my opinion for this quality of food, beyond delicious. Highly recommend!
