Perhaps I did find the overall best sushi place in Toronto. Maki rolls were delicious and quite reasonably priced. Service is not the best but completely understandable since that's one of the ways to ensure low prices but cutting down labor. I wanted to visit this place because of the reviews, when we got there it was packed (which I thought was a good sign). We managed to get a private table, which was amazing, but the 'call' button wasn’t working, so we had to wait until we saw someone to ... order (they were ignoring us because they expected us to use the button). To be fair, the sushi tasted good, though it was supposed to be spicy but wasn’t🧐 The size of the sushi is very big to eat on one bite. The tempura is supposed to be delicate, but too much batter made it too greasy, it seemed like they were made in a rush and carelessly (see the picture). The seafood yaki udon was meh. As for the octopus takoyaki, I don’t know if they are supposed to be that way, but the smell was so strong and bad that we tried it and had to leave it. 😷 It made me sick until next day. In summary, I guess it could be a good place to eat cheap sushi if you don’t care about how authentic it is, because it does taste good. Read more

Can't find the way to describe enough how good is this place! First of all staffs are always nice and friendly and made you feel welcome every time! The price is very good compare to the portion. Good quality of sushi and sashimi. If you go there around dinner time ... then be prepare to wait for a while as they usually busy. We always go on Friday for dinner time and wait for about 15 minutes max it sometime no need to wait at all. It might take them a while to come take your order but food come out sooooo fast!!!!!
