Bardi’s Steakhouse - Toronto, Ontario

I wanted to try a traditional steakhouse but Bardis was old school in all the wrong ways. The food was very underwhelming. Our salad was topped with bottled Kraft Italian dressing and our calamari was definitely those pre-cooked frozen ones restaurants just had to put in the deep fryer. The steak ... was not a great cut even though we get their most expensive one. The decor and ambiance was like walking into a steakhouse from the 70s, and nothing had been cleaned or updated since then. Even the washrooms which are in the basement smelled like wet carpet. We came for my husbands birthday . The waiter and host Chris are fabulous . The food was excellent . The chowder was great as well as the chicken dinner. I Prefer bardis menu over barberians.

Amazing Service. Amazing Food. I think these unchanged old school restaurants are really sought after now . We had an amazing dining experience thanks to the staff, amazing food and wine. Highly recommend!!! Beautiful place

It's a little outdated inside but what a meal we had. Drinks food and service was all great. I had a 35oz steak and it was so delicious. Foods - excellent, their steaks were soooo good Services - formal old style, so a bit cold. A bit of smiling face added to the style would be great, a bit of regular check in would show a formal and caring style od tgis new era.
