Super service from the moment we walked in to the end of the visit. Great friendly helpful staff. The food was hit and miss. Lobster bisque was perfect. Crab cakes only tasted salty and not very much of crab flavour. Bacon wrapped scallops were just .,. Cooked. ... No grill marks or grill flavour. NY strip also over seasoned with more salt than flavour. Quite disappointed about that. Moxies had a better one. Lobster tails were generous size and tasty. The rice pilaf was tasty too but a bit too dry and hard. The aside veggies were bland. The veggie meatloaf was a salty seasoned mess that felt like just souped up mashed potatoes. Service was bad, but it was a Saturday night. The food was delicious 😋 and the atmosphere is amazing. I highly recommend the garlic mashed potatoes and the baseball sirloin Steak. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.

Spent our Valentine’s Day here and everything was cooked to perfection! Service was excellent. Ambience was pretty classy. My filet mignon was very delicious. 🤤 worth it! The cocktails we ordered were to die for!!

This was the second Keg restaurant I visited in two days - and it was definitely the better one. We made a reservation for 16 people on New Year's Eve so we were expecting it to be pretty busy. To our surprise, it was not too crowded and we enjoyed a ... fairly private section of the restaurant, with two tables to accommodate the group. I would have preferred if they could fit us on one table, but if there was no seating arrangement that would have accommodated us I can't blame the Keg for this. Our entire table ordered prime rib, which is my favourite thing to get at the Keg. I also got a Keg Caesar (the drink not the salad), which was a bit watery. Our table mostly got 18oz prime ribs, vastly overestimating our stomach sizes. The prime rib was cooked well but I remember the prime rib being more flavourful with the jus - or it might just be because I had eaten SO much of it (and I had prime rib the night before...).The side of fries that I chose was just okay and I think I would have made a better choice with the garlic mash or baked potato. Overall, the service was good for NYE. Our waiter was pretty attentive and checked on us throughout the night. The food also came out relatively fast considering the size of the group and the occasion. The prices were reasonable and our meals came out cheaper than they would at a lot of other upscale restaurants on New Year's. I did wish that they offered a special new year's menu, but the features seemed to be the same ones as a normal night (the Kansas city striploin). Overall would recommend this location. Read more
