Amazing atmosphere. The servers were very attentive too. Love the Lacoste polo shirt they wear as uniform. We ordered the 54 months and 18 months Spanish ham to start. With a member of our party being celiac, I reached out by email asking if accommodations could be made. The reply was speedy, friendly and positive. My friend and I went to Patria for dinner and were extremely disappointed. The food was expensive, really lackluster, and half our dishes were burnt. First, the bread with manchego: the manchego slices were so so thin you could see through them. You couldn't even taste it through the acidity ... of the tomato puree, and only one bite tasted like it had garlic. Next, the bacon wrapped dates were a dish we were so excited for. When it came, 2 of the 5 were burnt to a crisp and even had burnt bits stuck onto the skillet. The ones that weren't burnt did taste good. The calamari was also somehow burnt. I get that this dish was supposed to be grilled calamari, but half the veggies were inedible because they were basically ash. Also since the dish was so burnt, the entire flavour profile of this dish was just bitter and lemony. The croquette with ham, churros, and drinks were good though. The atmosphere overall was pretty nice, but we didn't love how it looked like they hung knives behind some of the booths above people's heads.
