You have to be able to eat with your hands and be able to take the hot food. It tastes great. Staff is great. Definitely worth the experience!

First time not to be impressed with captains boil- this location specifically. For the last 2 years, I have been a regular customer. I go every 2-3 times a month any location. This was the first time for me in the bayview location, but I really left unhappy. I went ... to this location specifically because the lobster deal for $20. First thing that wasn't good is that my order arrived 5-10 minutes after my wife order. Secondly, there was barely any sauce in the bag and it was very garlic ( I always order captains boil sauce, so I know how it taste exactly). I wish I could take a photo of the bag before eating. A must try! Shrimps, crab legs, mussels, clams all smothered with their Captain Boil sauce is the way to go. Add, a seafood fried rice dish to that and you'll be leaving a very happy customer. A fun way to enjoy seafood!!! Great customer service! Will be returning.

Cool concept... Be prepared to get messy... Tips: Cut the top of the bags to make grabbing your food easier and if in doubt about seasoning and spice level, go with The Captain's Boil and go with no spice... ask for heat on the side for those who want it

The food is great. This location also takes reservation for less than 6 people which is a plus. However the service is so so. We were seated on the second floor. The location was not busy. There was only 3 tables of customers upstairs on a Sunday. The food came ... really fast busy and the taste is great. It was my birthday and we brought cake to serve after dinner. Not only they don't even have any sort of plates. Which is kinda ridiculous as a restaurant. In the end when we were eating our cake, the waitress were moping the entire second floor which has a strong cleaning detergent smell. It was absolutely Unprofessional and unacceptable . It was only 8:45pm!!!! I took this complaint to them right before I left. although they apologized I still won't go back. The management team or owner need to make it right. You are not a family restaurant or cheap restaurant that should be moping the entire floor when you still have customers dining in. I would give it 4/5 if it wasn't for the service. Read more
